Analysis: Tenerife started the season with two defeats in a row. The Islanders were defeated by Girona 4-2 in the first round, but lost miserably during the week 1-4 to Elche in the cup. The clash with the reality of Segunda obviously have an impact, but we should not underestimate the fact that the team is expected to be involved in the battle for promotion. The first home game of the season offers a good opponent, who also have a mediocre start. Salamanca took point at home against Cordoba, but had a very poor game against Betis on Wednesday, where could not even hold his lead.
